This actual fishing trawler was prepared and transported from New Orleans to the Studio in Shreveport. This vessel was acquired in Buras Louisiana 2 weeks before hurricane Katrina made landfall there and destroyed the town.

The fishing trawler fully rigged on a huge gimbal set at the Wave Tank Studio in Shreveport serving as the main set piece for the climax of the film.
